1. How long is the course duration?

   The course duration is 2 ½ year or 7 trimester and maximum is 5 years.
   

2. What are the requirements for the diploma courses?

   Please refer to this page for entry requirement. Application from Polytechnic graduates will also be considered.
   

3. What is the course fees?

   For information about the course fees, please email to diploma@mmu.edu.my.
   

4. Is there any financial assistance for the courses and how much?

   Yes, financial assistant from PTPTN is available. The loan application process will be handled by Admission & Scholarship Division.
   

5. Upon completion of the diploma program will students be able to further their studies to degree level in MMU?

   Yes, student who obtained a minimum CGPA of 2.00 will be eligible to apply and continue their degree in Cyberjaya or Malacca Campus.
   

6. Are these courses accredited by MQA/LAN?

   Yes, all courses have been approved and accredited by MQA.
   

7. Will there be credit transfer for certain subjects?

   Those who obtained at least grade C for Bahasa Malaysia at the SPM level will be eligible for excemption for Bahasa Kebangsaan A. Credit transfer from certificate courses to diploma is not allowed.
   

8. Will there be credit transfer for certain subjects? How long will it take to complete a degree program for a diploma graduate?

   It will depend on how many subjects have obtained credit transfer. Students will start of at the end of Beta year but if many subjects have obtained credit transfer, then they will be able to take subjects from Gamma and Delta. Students who are able to get a maximum credit transfer (40 credit hours), it is possible to complete their degree between 2 -3 years depending on the programme.
   

9. What are the requirements for credit transfer?

   To obtained credit transfer, the subject should at least be with a grade C. The maximum credit hours that can be transferred is 40 hours.
   

10. What are the career prospects upon completion of the above diploma programes?

    Graduates can be employed either in the public or private sectors at the assistant level. For instance, E-Commerce Developer, Internet Application Developer, Webmaster, Software Application Developer, Executive Management Information Systems, WAP Application Developer, Database Manager, Information Systems Manager, Systems Analyst, Programmer, System Developer, Network Manager, System Support, Software Engineer, Telecommunications Engineer, Sales Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Engineer Quality Control.
